Originally released 2016 (I think) as a limited run 7" on "BRKN DANCEFLOORS", a sister label to the ace Kevin Rolfe's legendary underground 7"s imprint BOX BEDROOM REBELS.

I hadn't made any "club" music in a while and bumped in to Kev, who said if I could put together some tracks that would fit on the timing of a 7" he would press it up, I was also given a pretty tight deadline to do it.

Most of the deadline was spent generally doing nothing and thinking "I should probably make a start on this" then all the tracks were made in the space of 24 hours from scratch.

"Cardboard House" is a less clever title than it seems. A lot of the percussion is from me playing drums on various boxes and a spring i'd ripped out of a busted amp, which was fun, if not slightly neighbour bothering.

"AndThisAndThat" - zero recollection of making this other than knowing it had to be pretty short to fit on side A after Cardboard House. Deep insight for you there.

"Fool Around" - I dug this out recently when I did a rare DJ set and was asked if it was a Daft Punk track. The answer was no, but what ERA of Daft Punk did you think? "Homework" was the reply, and all was right with the world (it's an amazing record, am sure their other stuff brought a lot of people joy but for me, nothing ever got close to the feel of that first one)

"No Pressure At All" - The 7" had a much edited version of this to fit the wax but i'd just kind of freestyled it with the loops i'd made and some hilariously loose improv over the top so i'm pretty sure this is the first time the full length version has been seen in the wild. V fond of this.
